The burner ports—the small holes where flames emerge—can become clogged with food debris over time. Use a straight pin or needle to clear each port carefully. Never use toothpicks, which can break off and cause blockages.
Inspect the igniter electrodes monthly. These small probes create the spark that lights your burners. Clean them gently with a soft brush to remove any carbon buildup. A dirty igniter can cause clicking without ignition or delayed lighting.
